An amount of ¢485 million has been paid as Cost-of-Living Allowance (CoLA) by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD). The Controller and Accountant  General Department made the announcement in a statement on Monday August 29. “Pursuant to the approval given by the Ministry of Finance on 1st August 2022, following the Agreement signed between Government and Organized Labour on 14th July 2022, the Controller and Accountant-General has paid the Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) to workers in Public Service Institutions. “The COLA which represents fifteen percent (15%) of the 2022 basic salary was paid for the months of July and August. The total amount paid for COLA for the two months is Four Hundred and Eighty-Five Million Ghana Cedis (GH¢485,000,000.00),” the statement said. GSE Declares Their Improving Performance For 2021 financial year

Laud Nartey Reported On 3News GH.  The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) held its 32nd Annual General Meeting posting impressive results amid the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic that continued to slow down the rebound of most economies including Ghana in 2021. The Annual General Meeting is held every year to update its licensed dealing members, associate members, and other stakeholders on the performance of the Exchange and the way forward. Despite 2021 being another challenging year, the Exchange showed resilience by recording a solid financial performance with a surplus of GHS31.13million representing an increase of 32% over the same period last year and the highest in the history of the Exchange. US sends first ambassador to Sudan in 25 years

  The US has sent its first ambassador to Sudan in 25 years, two years after it removed it from the list of countries that sponsor terrorism. Ambassador John Godfrey arrived in the capital, Khartoum, on Wednesday and tweeted: I am delighted to arrive in Sudan. I look forward to deepening relations between Americans and Sudanese and to supporting the Sudanese people’s aspirations to freedom, peace, justice, and a transition to democracy. Sudan was added to the list of countries that sponsor terrorism in 1993 after accusations that it supported al-Qaeda, whose founder Osama bin Laden lived in Sudan from 1992 to 1996. In 1997, the US downgraded representation in Sudan from ambassador to the level of charge d’affaires and imposed economic sanctions. The US announced plans to upgrade the representation in 2019 and in 2020, Sudan appointed its first ambassador to the US in 23 years. Source: BBC

According to one Intel in the greater Accra region, on the 11th of August, 2022 speaking on BBC NEWS PIDGIN stated clearly and categorically that  " Terrorists dey plan attack on Accra Ghana, Lagos, oda major African cities".   NPC reveals that Accra is the major African cities the terrorist are planning to Attach. This information or hint was given by the independent peace and security of Ghana and  the  National  peace  Council.  The National peace Council and Independent peace and security of Ghana also emphasized that   " this  are part of the  terrorist border plan according to an analyst to penetrate the coast of west Africa with their activities.
