The Management of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives (GCNM) is inviting applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into different nursing and midwifery programmes for the 2022/2023 academic year.

GHANA COLLEGE OF NURSES AND MIDWIVES PROGRAMMES

Below is the list of available programmes and requirements for admission into the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives.

Application Fees:

– Ghanaian Applicants: C175.00

– International Applicants: US$120.00 (or its equivalence)

HOW TO APPLY FOR COLLEGE OF NURSES AND MIDWIVES ADMISSION

1. Pay the Application fee in the applicant’s name at any branch of the Republic Bank or Ecobank across the county

2. Send a scanned copy of deposit slip to application@gcnm.edu.gh 

3. Receive an online application Access Code from the Admission team

4. Use Access Code to access and complete Online Application form at *http://www.gcnm.edu.gh*


Attach scanned copies of the following to the application

#Academic Certifications

#Statement of Intent

#One page for Association Membership Programme Applicants

#Two pages for membership Programme Applicants

#Two recommendations letter:

#Applicants’ immediate supervisor

· Applicant’s’ Head of Department.


Note:

#All Applicants must be registered Nurses/Midwives/Mental Health Nurses of good standing with the N&MC.

#Nurses or Nurse-Midwives with a bachelor’s degree may apply to undergo the one year programme for skill development.

Anyone who does the one- year programme may at a later period enroll for a two-year top-up to become a specialist and member of the college.

Applicants must ensure that:

*The Online Application is correctly filled & receipt acknowledged on submission

*Correct address and telephone numbers are provided.

*Keep printed copy of the Application submitted online.

This will be needed during interview.

*Check from time to time to know the status of your admission (4 weeks from the Application Deadline).

1. Applicants who meet the Admission Requirements will be called for an interview.

2. Two (2) Recommendation Letters from the applicant’s immediate Supervisor and Head of Department will be required.

3. Successful applicants will be offered admission into their programme of choice.
